Bright and early with BBC Radio Sheffield

Today started a little differently than usual - with a very early alarm clock and a trip to the BBC Radio Sheffield studios for a live interview on their breakfast show!

We had the absolute pleasure of being invited to chat live, and what an experience it was!

Driving into Sheffield before everyone was up, having breakfast gave us a different view of Sheffield. The topic? Something very close to our heart: the important work we do at Clean N Bright Cleaning Services, especially when it comes to biohazard and trauma cleaning.

It’s not every day you get to share your story on live radio It was a brilliant opportunity to talk with Ellie Colton about the realities of the job - how we support people through the aftermath of difficult and distressing situations, and why this kind of cleaning work requires not just specialist training, but compassion, discretion, and professionalism. All this was before 7 am!

Despite the early hour, the conversation was energising and I’m so grateful to the team at BBC Radio Sheffield for shining a light on the kind of work that often happens behind closed doors - but has a real impact on families and communities.
