Car Park Site Clearance, UK
Date of works: July 2026
The call. The call came from a facilities management company responsible for a commercial site with a public car park. The local fire service had been in touch. A quantity of furniture had been dumped in the open outside the car park, and it had been flagged as a fire risk that needed to be removed. Fly-tipped furniture of this kind draws exactly that sort of attention. It builds up quickly, it gets in the way, and once it is there it tends to attract more alongside it. The facilities company needed professional removal services so it was gone, cleared properly and taken off site, rather than simply moved out of sight.
The Scene & Work
The furniture had been dumped in the open outside the car park, where it had been left to gather. A pile like this does more than look untidy. It obstructs the area, it becomes a magnet for further dumping, and, as the fire service had pointed out, it carries a real fire risk in a spot where people park and pass through. The task was clear in principle: collect everything that had been left, load it, and remove it from site in full, leaving nothing behind and no reason for the problem to settle back in.
Clean N Bright attended the site to deal with the whole lot in a single visit. The team collected and loaded all of the dumped furniture, clearing it from the area outside the car park. Everything was taken away rather than relocated, and transported to a licensed waste facility for proper disposal. That last step matters. Fly-tipped waste has to be handled through the right channels and taken to a licensed site, so the clearance is lawful and accountable from collection through to final disposal, with nothing passed on to become someone else's problem.
Outcome of our Site Clearance
The site was cleared. The furniture was gone, the fire risk the fire service had raised was removed, and the area outside the car park was returned to a clean, safe and usable state, with the waste disposed of properly and lawfully at a licensed facility.
